Light of Love

“Follow the moon,” said the heart to the head.
“But there is not enough light….I will lose my way.”
replied the head.
“I will light the way for you.” said the heart.
“You have no light. You are buried deep inside the
cavern of the body,” countered the head scornfully.
“You are the one who is blind and in darkness, not I,”
declared the heart. ”For you cannot see that beyond
the words of reason lies a light so brilliant that you will
never lose your way.”
“What is it called?” asked the head.
“It is called the light of love and it dwells within me,”
answered the heart.
“It may dwell within you,” agreed the head, “but you
have just used my words to describe it to me. If you will
share the light of your love with me, I will use my words
to tell the world of this great gift and noone need lose
their way or walk alone in darkness ever again.”
The heart reflected quietly for a moment and then said,
“Yes, dear friend, you speak words of great wisdom. I
would be happy to share the light of my love with you.
With the light of my love and the power of your words
we will be unstoppable.”
