Cradle of Love

Your call to me echoes in my heart
I feel the warm wind of change blowing
across my breast
Your breath, a gentle breeze
Your touch, a taste of heaven
Your voice like rays of light upon a
glistening sea
The painful memories sink into deep water
I discover in you all the colors of the rainbow
A box of treasures filled with a shimmering light

Your art shows me what is visible and invisible
inside of you and inside of me
I look at you and long to kiss away all
your wounds
You cover me with the invisible cloak of
your caresses
Your soul seeps into the cracks in my heart
I cry tears of golden light

Sleep with me beneath the clouds
Dream with me as we flow together
like the river and the sea
Let me drink you in
Let me wash my eyes with the beauty
of your being

I dance on tiptoes along the edge of
this precipice
There is nothing I can do to keep from
falling, falling
I let myself go…..knowing that I will
fall into the cradle you have built for me
with your arms.
