Suspended in this long abandoned ether of space

I wonder where I have come to

My fingers grasp onto you not knowing

will you hold me or let me go

falling through the clouds to my own nothingness?

Should I become the space between the stars?

Will I ever find a place to call home again?

How fearful in this moment where

I leave all that I have known behind

How blissful it is when you lift me up,

unbound by gravity

I find pure freedom
